clones & pre flowers

so from seed if i understand correctly generally takes 2-months to pre-flower? well if i cloned from female with pre-flowers.......when do the clones pre-flower? when they develop the 8th node again

The clones will have pre-flowers on them immediately if you clone from a plant that already has pre-flowers on them.

if ur plant had preflowers, and u went to cut a lower branch off of it, be4 its rooted from the very minute you cut it, its gonna have the pistols sticking out .....lookn just like its mother

not mine she did not have pre flowers all over.....just in certain spots.

one of my clones of coarse one that died had the preflowers....i dont remember if they all had them....they could of died off? if they did...then how long before more come?

ok, must not be understanding or i must not be explaining right.

Method used for less stress is to clone your plant...then throw the clone (after rooted) into flower to show sex.....male cull, female then mother is confirmed.......SO if i rooted a clone and never flowered it......when would it show?

i cut clones from a6week flowering plant, after she is transplanted and reverted she there is no preflowers. if you clone from afemale plant then there is no need to flowerto sex. and if you are cloned from a seed that you do notnothe sex of then is what you do is cut your clone labeling the plant you cut from and the clone the same # so that when you flower the plant youcut off of and find out what sex it is then youcan go from their. if it turns out to be male then chop it down and through out the clone youcut from that plant, you no they willbe male.

It isn't necessary to wait for pre-flowers before flowering your plants. Few people do as far as I know. Wasn't sure if you knew that from reading your post.

no its not. if your running 24/0 the hole time in veg, then when you switch to 12/12 its going to take a bit longer to see preflowers. always run 18/6 for at least 2 weeks b4 switch to 12/12 if you run 24/0 during veg. this from my experence. on what i noticed

Makes sense. I may experiment with that in mind, but as of yet most of the strains I have have showed sex in less than a week. Especially the AK47 and Power Plant I've got. I've got another strain that I love and which stinks to high heaven. I was told it was called Speedster, but have had trouble cloning it. Amazing aroma and flavour though... I wish someone would invent smell-o-vision already... (although there is the possibility that the guy I got them from mixed up the names and what I think is Power Plant is really Speedster and visa versa... does anyone know whether Power Plant stinks or not?)
