Increase Yields For Soil...Guaranteed!

I very seldom try to recomend certain products simply because I don't like the pissing contests that usually evolve when discussing these products and growers beliefs. However, about 4 months ago I started using Great White by Plant Revolution. It adds the premium Mycorrihizae to the soil. These are the beneficial bacteria & trichoderma that enables your plants to process the nutrients in a more efficient way.

I am not going to get into the "science" of these beasties. If you are intersted just google it and start reading. It will make your head swim.

After using mycorrhizae from clone to harvest, I saw my yields jump from an average of 40 grams of dry bud per plant to an average of 52 grams per plant! According to my math, thats a 30% increase in yields! My test were run on White Widow that I have been growing for over 1.5 years so I had a pretty good track record with that strain.

I am truely amazed at this improvement. I also know this is not earth shattering news. Actually, its pretty common knowledge. I just wanted to let everyone growing in soil know that they must incorporate this into their grows ASAP!

I have no idea how this works in other growing medium but in soil it will rock your grow like nothing else I have ver used. NOTHING has given me results like the mycorrhizae beasties did. I used moleasses (1 tablespoon per gallon) every other feeding in veg and flower. The moleasses feeds all those lil beasties which in turn takes care of your plants like nothing I have ever experienced. I added new beasties every 2 weeks to keep my colonies strong and vibrant. I even cut back from 25ml per gallion of my nutes because the beasties were providing more than enough nutes and I no longer needed the dose I was using.

Anyway, sorry for the long post and I also understand that this is common knowledge. However, I just wanted to pass along my experiences simply because if it helps make me a good grower, it can help anyone. Also on a side note I used Great White Mycorrhizae which is very expensive but the payoff is well worth it. I am sure others are just as good but my experience was with Great White.

If anyone has any questions, I will be glad to help in anyway possible.

I feel the same about the Super Plant Tonic I use from Blue Mountain Organics (ebay store).

$70.00 for 8 oz? Wow, what is the dosage ratio & frequency?

I use a 1/2 scoop per gallon of water. The scoop comes with the package so I am not sure how much. It really is a small amount. 8oz should last 8-10 months on my type of grow schedule. I can promise you one thing, you will see a difference like nothing I have ever seen. Just explosive growth. I am a huge skeptic but this stuff made a believer out of me.

Boneman - Thanks for stopping by. I have heard of super plant tonic but I am not sure what all it contains. Educate me ol friend. Also, I am going to chop a Kali Mist this weekend @ day 117 of flower. The main cola is the size of a coke bottle. I can't wait to cure it. 117 days...the longest I have ever flowered a plant. We will see if it's any better than my normal flower time.

LegalizeCannabisHemp - It's done.

Can you specify the application process. For example, if I use 20 gallons of water for my babies, how much of the great white do I mix with? Also, can I just add the Great White with the rest of my nutes on my feeding days or does it go separately?

Please read Hung...the op says he uses a 1/2 scoop per gallon of water, so simple math tells you that if you're using 20 gallons of water, then you will need 10 scoops.....

OP: Good looking on the info...I am going to try this out asap. Do you use this mainly in veg or the whole life? Thanks again.

SPT contains the following :
Artesian Spring Water, Worm Castings, Mycorrhizal Fungi, Coral Calcium, Unsulphured (Blackstrap) Molasses, Endo and Ecto Bacteria, and Humic Acid derived from Oak Leaf & Peat Compost.

Why they are used :

The Artesian Spring Water (provides an all natural, chlorine free base), Worm Castings (add soluable nitrogen & trace minerals), Endo and Ecto Bacteria protect your plants roots and break down insoluble NPK, Mycorrhizal Fungi inoculate your plants roots helping them to get the most out of your soil or medium, Unsulphured Molasses (feeds - these beneficial microorganisms, provides trace minerals, plus soluble nitrogen, phosphorus & potassium), Coral Calcium (adds 72 trace minerals - that's all of them), Humic Acid derived from (Hot Composted) Oak Leaves & Peat - adds natural chelates (ensuring smooth delivery of the trace minerals). All these good things are mixed, then oxygenated for (3) days under optimal conditions; in a special organic tea brewer. Which increases the feeding action of the beneficial microorganisms - which break down all these good things, into a highly soluble liquid. Easily absorbed by plants. Note: Mycorrhizal Fungi enhance your plants ability to absorb more nutrients, minerals & water - resulting in better vigor, growth & draught resistance. Just Google or Yahoo Search Mycorrhizal Fungi - You'll find page after page of information praising them.
The effects on your plants will Amaze You !!! . Just like you, a plant fed a well balanced diet, which includes vitamins & trace minerals - Results in Increased Health & Vigor. It is like a protein shake for your plants.
There you have it...good shite RTH :hump:

I harvested my 1st of the two KM's at close to day 100 too. I'm not exactly sure without going back and reading my journal but let me say one thing RTH....DAYUMN!!! Last night was my first sample and DAMN! It had only been curing for a week and still has some time to finish curing but the buzz was absolutely out of this world. I got 1.6 O'z from one plant.

Bones, I see by your post you're using this, and it sounds like it made a substancial improvement - Congrats !!
I also note that the mix includes artesian spring water. Did you use an aquious mix or a powder? I I'd like to try this in my next soil grow, but at $70.00 (for 8 oz) plus shipping I would like to make sure that it is the real stuff before I do that.
Thanks for your help.
Peace

GWN, I am using Super Plant Tonic from Blue Mountain Organics (ebay store) and it only costs $6.75 for a large bottle, 16 ounces, I think, but it makes 16-64 gallons depending on your application (soil or hydro)

If you are refering to Great White, I got a jar that was 4 oz and it was like 34.00 USD from a local Hydro shop. I am not advocating Great White as much as I am the beasties, which also seem to be in the Super Plant Tonic that Boneman uses. However, I am speaking from experience, as is Boneman. The Mycorrhizal Fungiare the absolute real deal when it comes to increased yields and happy, healthy plants.

Boneman is the guru so I would certainly take any advice from him serious. I think the bottom line is that we both strongly suggest the use of Mycorrhizal Fungifor some very impressive results.

I just chopped another White Widow that was given Great White from clone. I will post some pics later. So help me, the buds were so big, they were literally hanging off the plant. Check back later and I will get some pics up. This was in part due to the Mycorrhizal Fungithat I used.

Thanks RTH...I think your the guru bro :hump: I was turned on to SPT by Osogreen who is the organic guru!! Ever since I started using it, my results are just fantastic. I havent used great white, but it sounds very simliar. SPT is a root innoculant as is GW.

Did you see the new strain called Blue Venom from G-13? Blueberry x WW......Sounds tasty and potent :hump:

Boneman, those are kind words but your journals speak for themselves. I am not worthy of carrying your Perilite bags.

Here are the pics I promised. This is a White Widow that had Great White from clone. I wish I would of thought to take a pic of her root ball. It was impressive! I made no other changes from my regular feeding other than a bit more moleasses and the Mycorrhizal Fungi. These pics were a few minutes before chop and she was leaned up against the door of the flower room. I veged her for 8 weeks and flowered her for 70 days. Thats 112 days from clone to harvest. I am very pleased with the results and it is all attributed to the Mycorrhizal Fungi.

I weighed her after 5 days of drying and 2 weeks cure...59.5 grams of rock hard nugs. My biggest yield before this was 46.2 grams. These pics don't do her justice but hopefully, you can see the size of those nugs...

I can't help you with your question. However, I do know that if you are not currently using any Mycorrhizal Fungi, you will want to find a vehicle that meets your current needs. It can be the Super Plant tonic or the Great White or even the product you have questions about. Just get those beasties in your grow ASAP. You won't regret it and in fact, you will wonder what took you so long to introduce them to your plants.

Hey Boneman! I see you are using coir. I use 100% perlite. What do you think about the effectiveness of SPT with soil-less mediums?
