I Have a 2 story unheated, no water, partially insulated garage with 100 amp service out in the country in the northeast USA. The garage is hidden from view of roads in the middle of 10 acres. What would you experienced indoor growers do to set this space up as an ideal grow situation? I am planning to provide water and heat. The space is 28 feet wide by 36 feet long by 12 feet high.

Sounds like a good place to set up a grow site to me. Section off about a 12 x 12 area and wall that in. Your grow area needs to be semi private/sterile.

After you wall that area off paint the insides a glossy white to help reflect light. Figure out how or where you are going to vent your heat. Shouldn't be a big problem since the attic isn't heated. Then buy your light(s), ballast, exhaust fan(s), pulleys.

This should be done after you have run your water. Heat? Hmmm...Would insultation work? What are you going to do for water drainage? It will come into play.

The limitations on such area depend only on how much $$$$ can u afford to spend....but i would go nuts....i´m talking about veg area, clone area and flower area....with generous size on the veg and flower running a couple of 600watters on veg and flower and if water is provided running aqua farms or aeroponic systems....this would yield some serious 2 or 3 Kg every 2 months easy....then again i might get to stoned to take care of it once i harvested the 1st batch...
