Hey Everybody, So at the very base of my plant there is this bumpy skin textured stuff on the stalk that has always been there since the plant has come up, but my question is, where that bumpy skin stops there is now more bumps going half way up my plant, I wasnt sure if this was just a pertective layer its growing or molf or what. It has the same texture as the stuff on the base just not as developed looking I guess.

I think your plant has warts. lol, j/k. Is it the same color as the rest of the stem? It sounds normal unless its black or something.

That is very common on pot plants. No need for worry, unless your an outdoor grower and you see signs of worm trailings. Mostly what causes this is the rate of growth as well as the skin/bark of the stocks toughness. Yes it can and sometimes it goes 3/4 of the way up the plant. Another reason for this is how long you let your plant grow! The longer you let it grow the tougher the skin/bark gets. I would'nt worry about it.

Yeah it didnt look like anything bad it just looked like the bark/skin was beginning to grow further up it...my friend said he had mold like 6in up his stalk one time and it was white so I just wanted to be sure...on another note my plant is on its 19th day of 12/12 and I have hairs poppin out everywhere but no real bud development yet...is this normal??Since I only have one plant I cant compare it the rates of others...It seems kind of a sluggish take off but maybe not..comments appreciated

What types of lights are you using? Does sound a little slow to me. Could be the breed of the plant. Some grow a bit slower than others. Give it another two weeks or so and you should see real nice bud development!

I'm using a 1000W HPS..I know it seems like alot of light for one plant but this plant was kind of an experiment to see if I could get it to grow and its turning out to be better than planned...I actually got the 1000W MH/HPS switchable so when I start my next grow I can do a few more plants at once...This plant is just a seed out of some good middies I came across...Hopefully you're right and I'll see some beautiful buds coming from my plant in a few weeks

the bumpy shit is normal. just keep your dick away from it. and often times bagseed takes a while to mature. not sure why, but in my expirience this is almost always the case.
