Default Temp. problem
My growbox temp is in the low to mid 90's with lights on and the door closed. -I have the day cycle switched to 8pm-8am.
-I have two 10 fans inside the box circulating air.
-1 bathroom exhaust fan at the top of the box venting hot air.
-my hood is cooled by a 4" duct tapped into my a/c with a booster fan, and of course tempered glass
-I also placs pitchers of ice inside during the day to try and help a little and add a little humidity.......
I'm all outta ideas guys. I need help or i think my bud is gonna run on me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks

Default me too
im having the same prob.
i was told that i was cooling my lights, buy not cooling my room.
i can hold my hand right under my 1000 watter and be fine, but i'm standing there sweating in 92 tropical weather. i think the solution is a big fan to move a lot of air out. im gonna have to buy another one. i ahve a 4" canfan coolin my light but i think i'm gonna have to get a 6" to suplement it. so expensive that damn things. one thing i read the other night was someone saying that when it comes to ventilation, overkill it.

What is the ambient air temperature around the box? Moving air inside of the box is not the same as exhausting it out of the box. I see that you are using a bathroom exhaust fan, what is the cfm rating for the exhaust fan. It should be able to exchange the air every 3-5 minutes.
The size of the ductwork can affect this. As an example, an 8" duct has just about 4x the air capacity of a 4" duct. And any bends in the ducting can affect air flow. Probably just repeating what you already know. The books I've looked at suggest you have twice the space for intake as you have for exhaust but they are talking about passive intake. Hmm.. I'm stumped to. VV

also like VV said, 3-5 minutes. what is your volume in your grow room, and the rating of your fan. length and bends in ducting? what is he temp of your intake air? where is it brought in from and where is your air exausted to. is your light on a passive or closed ventilation sys? what is the wattage of your light? your a'/c, do you mean the vent for central heat and air? or a small window a/c like 5000btu?

It needs to move that 56 cubic feet 3 to 5 times a minute. Your fan is not strong enough.

do you have a link for the mini cooler you have? I wanna check it out. For humidity I use a couple coolmist humidifiers, one in the room and one outside near the intake fan. It does pretty good for me.
