most potent strain???

Personally, I weigh potency against ease of grow. I would love to harvest 20%+ for every plant but at what cost? I am currently growing Master Kush and Early Misty. Both are very easy grows and especially recommended for newbie growers and both have potency in the 15-20% range. Unless I am looking for a comatose stone, that's plenty potent enough for me (15% potency would put most people on their ass).

my over all fav. is bubble gumm tastes like the nicest weed u can imagin leaves the bubblegum taste it reminds me of bubblegum lemonade the taste or i was just that stoned i imagined it
real nice heavey stoned that u want and u get the giggles like when u just started puffing and wake up next day as good as new after a heavy session

Me personally, i would take the ak47 over the white russian, but thats only for commercial reasons.

Ak47 is a sativa/indica mix.

If you want to get two strains and grow them both, why not get a pure indica and a pure sativa?

The flying dutchman have great sativa strains at affordable prices. It just depends on whether your a qualitity guy or a name guy.

Im a get fucked up kinda guy.

Names are just names....Quality matters most....but seed cost always comes into play. Im just hesitant to do a pure Sativa indoors because of the potential size of the plants.

I need something with a mule kick. Since I trust your seed advice I'll go with the AK....You know your seeds.

i bought some white russian seeds from serious seeds about 5 years ago. they never made it through to harvest unfortunately. however, digging around the other day (after months of casual searching) i found their tube. there were 6 seeds inside, all seem quite small and feeble looking. 2 i squashed with my fingers.

anyways, basically ive got four white russian seeds. not sure if theyll be any good as theyre 5 years old, but ill start germinating them on sunday so hopefully theyll grow!

i wanna know a few things.....

1. what exactly is this percentage? is this percent of THC in the sample? this could change depending on where the sample was taken from. when it was taken. who grew it. how it was grown. so many variables.

2. who here can tell the difference between 18% and and 24%? honestly. if it's 15% and you take a hit twice as big as your buddy, did you just get 30% or did he get 7.5%?

3. anyone ever test for it? from what i understand this is a pretty extensive LAB test. i see they have these new home test kits. whatever. i've seen the machines they use to analyze samples. they cost a lot of money. if i where to use a home test kit i would test 10 samples of the same bud. bet they would all be different.

4. why all the focus on THC? thc is NOT the only active ingredient in marijuana. it's not necessarily that important of a # that we should concern ourself with such small differences.

I have to wonder what criteria would be appropriate for determining overall potency. As people have said, THC is not the only fact (not to mention fdd's excellent point regarding the nature of data regarding THC content).

Honestly, when you're talking about strains like White Widow, Blueberry, AK-47 - who cares? They are all potent, for sure.

it's like booze.....................once you get over 70 proof your drunk anyways. wether it be 2 shots or 10.

when I drank the Jager got to me, I got all wired and fired up. If I was drinking whiskey I was laid back and mellow. Vodka didn't seem to do anything except get me drunk slowly. I agree that there are different kinds of highs, although I do look at THC% I believe the type of high is where it's at. The strongest stuff I've had that I can honestly remember is that Diesel stuff my buddy was growing, two hits and we were all whacked out. We watched like 3 hours of Freaks and Geeks in complete silence with the occasional giggle period. I also would not reccomend using power tools, we were building a deck before we smoked, the deck had to wait...I had a lot of fun that day. When I was younger I had some NL and Purple Haze but I honestly can't seem to remember that far back. I also had some ice that knocked me for a loop, it even made me paranoid and I never get paranoid.

Im still new to this...so I would like to grow out some of the more popular strains and get my take on them. But I do see why you say getting those two would be redundant.

Tangerine Deam has got to be the strain with the highest THC at the moment along side Pineapple Chunk i have smoke both in Barneys coffee shop in Amsterdam
