green mold on the top of soilless mix

i had a little of that starting on my sunshine mix. you should be ok. i was mostly seeing it early on when i didnt have much for roots and it was about 5 or 6 days between watering. im in 3 gallon pots now and water every 3 days. since its not staying wet as long, it seems to be good now. i also transplanted 2 weeks ago and put them a little deeper in the pot and there is fressh soil on top now.

You can scrape it off and put some sand or at least get a fan blowing above soil to keep dry....

your soil is staying to wet to long.not drying out enough and not enough air flow.

what you're probably seeing is algae. i see a little almost every grow.

No Problem. Whole Ground Cornmeal will kills the bad bateria & fungi, but promote the growth of the good Bact. & Fungi. One cup per 1 gal., to make a tea, strain after sitting for 4 or more hours in very warm water. I mix it in my soil. See Dirtdoctor.com, the library, then click "C" for cornmeal to read more. It can be bought at the local grocery store, not the enriched or bleached shit, only 100% stone or whole ground cornmeal.

and i wonder green mold and trichoderma is same thing ?

From the pic it looks more like moss than mold, but if it's mold then increase ventilation and it should go away. Scrape off what is there if you are SURE that it's mold.

I will say NO,... not the same thing -mold vs Trich. Light kills microbes & the good bacterial & fungi in our soil. Mold can survive with sunlight. I did find a little info for you. See Dr.Earth.com, "How Dr. Earth Works".There is also a lot of great info on that site about the living soil.
