Aight peeps, aint heard from me in a while, been slightly busy, but anyway got all my money through and decided to go with a hydro setup, I've ordered the 4 pot wilma system because i'm only going to grow 4 lowryders to start off with under my 400w HPS, however I'm not sure what I need to get to actually start my grow now.. here's what i've got so far

Reflective material in a sterile grow spot
CO2 bottles for extra Co2
20" Fan to circulate air around the grow spot
400w HPS Lamp

4 pot wilma grow kit

This includes, pump, reservoir, tubing, pots.

If anyone has had experience with medium should I go for?
Perlite soil mix or Clay pebbles, when it comes to hydro because I havnt bought clay or perlite soil mix yet, might buy them both and do 2 pots with soil and 2 with clay and see the results, anyway give me some ideas and i'll keep you informed

And is hydro just for clones or can u start off from seed in them or what?

I also havnt got any timers or contactors so I think i'll invest in a 2 gang contactor with two 7 day digital timers, god damn alot of money really :S

Germinate the seeds in rockwool once they pop out place the cubes in the pots and fill the pots with clay pebbles...get ur system on and get a timer for that pump if u can get an air pump add a 1 or 2 air stones this will keep the nutes in the water circulating and with plenty of Oxygen to be delivered...

what are air stones?
An airstone is a piece of limewood or porous stone, whose purpose is to gradually diffuse oxygen into the tank.Airstones are sold in a very wide variety of shapess, sizes, and levels of coarseness--from extremely rough, producing larger (though still typically unnoticeable) bubbles and letting in more oxygen--to very fine, producing minuscule bubbles. Airstones are increasingly being made from bonded glass beads and synthetic products like fiberglass.
