Default AC cooling question... whole shop or just rooms?

question for you guys... as summer gets close the temps are rising. i'm in a 18x36 shop... i have the two grow rooms that are only made of poly, no insulation... one is 8x8x8 other is 8x11x8 should i get two smaller portable AC units and just cool the rooms or should i get one big one and cool the whole shop? i think its got a 16-18' high ceiling...

it'll be a lot cheaper to do just the rooms. I just picked up a window style AC at target for 110 bucks, says it'llcool between 250 and 500 sqft

if you can put window ac in each room that would be way cheaper and better portable ac are expensive i just got one but either way cool each rather than the whole room would be cheapier i dont know about the inital cost

best bet is to get a small window unit for 75-200 bucks. you only want to cool the space necessary. the more space you try to cool, the more money you will spend.

right on guys. sounds good. i'll wait till my temps soar and then build a couple frames for a window unit in each.

do you think that running your AC and your exhaust will just pull all the cool air out and make th AC run all day long
