Default cheap growing with ok buds??

well i got like 4 bags of a gram of high grade middies and over the time i took the seeds out and saved them well its winter right now so im not gonna plant them yet but do you know how i can get ok bud (im not talkin about the healthiest plant and the best shit) with out payin for all those fertilizers and shit im just talkin good soil, water, and good ole sunlight. I know it can be done because marijuana has been recorded for 200 years and i doubt that 200 years ago they had PH balance and all that stuff. Any help would be appreciated

find a field with tall grass, plants some seeds, pull out the males. harvest. dry. cure. smoke

how do i tell if there males or not and do i just gotta grow them and when i find out there males just pick them all out and harvest it and keep letting the females grow or wut. i've never grown as you can probally tell.... yet i smoke everyday all day lol

that really doesnt help i need something to compare it to since i have never actually seen a male or female plant. thanks for trying though. explanation of a female only part and male only part would be nice. Or female and male pictures side by side which ever one

Males look like lil bananas..or Balls.Located between the Internode and leaf .Lol..Females have 1 pod with 2 hairs shaped like a V coming out..

I would start your seeds inside and once the last frost has come and gone plant you new plants outside. You don't have to use the expensive fertilizer you find in Hydro stores as common fertilizer like Miracle Grow will work. I'm not saying it will work as well a the expensive stuff but it will help a great deal.
