I think 150s not that bad with a timer/relay/conductor type thingy. Dont know about the ballast though iv read some dodgy stories about them getting VERY hot.
Anyways thats a risk im willing to take, ill put it on a tile or sumat. Alls i need now is the €€€! Thinkin bout going onto dragons den for it?!

im soil myself why the cd in the pot are they going to stay in them pots and how do you get an even water penatration in the pot do you submerge the pot in a bucked or something,is it to stop nats or something sand will do the same trick.

i tried the cds cos the top of the soil was drying too quick under the lights, now the lights are far enough away
i took them off, and to water i just lifter the cd with a knife

Ah no i've used ebay my self annd aint got fuck over at all, my mate bought a 250 hps off ebay for 21 quid and bought 2x125 watt cfls for a god price all work great!

i just found a good one from germany i think, its an electronic ballast but it looks like there's some loose wiring

To be honest i no fuck all about electronics so i wouldnt be buying anything that needs work done with it but if you kno what your at go for it! Any of you boys kno where i could get some y spiltters for light bulbs, i builded a fucking fame so i could add more lights but now i can only put six bulbs in it which is of no use as my current one already holds six teach me for doing shit by eye and not measuring things!
