jay whenever your on i have some scrog related questions...


you grow from reg seeds, so how long do you veg for before weaveing into the screen..

if you get a male do you just chop at the pot then remove anything dead after a couple of days?

how high is your screen from top of pot?

couple more but don`t want to burn you out with it..

If i am growing with a REG seed then i veg for at least 6 weeks before hitting with a screen, you'll need to see the pre-flowers before introducing the screen as its just not worth the time and effort..
Feminized seed or even better a clone from a nice mother..
The veg time differs from strain to strain, but the last 2 times i have vegged them for a while then lowered the screen on to them, This time im NOT weaving in and out of the screen but using the screen to hold the branching down...

I've seen a great grow where the guy let the plant grow through the screen at a early stage and then tied it down to the screen underneath.
My screen is probably just short of foot from top of the pot, but scrogs can differ depending on strains, room size and type of scrog being used.

so preflowers in six weeks... could i veg for say three then flower for week to see sex then reveg?? kinda as a way around if you get me...

otherwise its a grow until sex, hope for a female then go the clone route,,,, might just be how this plays out....

You could do that but you'll still need to introduce the screen and fill out the screen, The stretch wont fill out your screen in time before the buds start coming on.
Sure I've been vegging with the screen for 28 days now and since my drunken acts on my girls the other night (topped & Fimmed) I've probably nearly 2 weeks left of veg

otherwise its a grow until sex, hope for a female then go the clone route,,,, might just be how this plays out....

If you get hold of a feminized seed then your laughing, top and fim the hell out of it to get as many branches as possible, Also when clearing away old foliage from underneath the canopy, you'll be able to get clones from the stuff you cut off..
I managed to get 6 clones yesterday..Hopefully they'll pull through and thats my next grow sorted....

In other news I chopped a Big Bud and a Skunk#1, bad news is this place is dry as a ducks arse... so I'm staring at all this weed, and can't smoke a fucking bit of it.

The Bubble Bags will be out tomorrow I tells ya!

At least you will know all the quicker if they are males or not! i wasted almost 3 months on a grow with two plants and both were males lol hit and miss, anyway am outta here later dude

Genius, for my next grow they're all gonna be let grow through a screen then they're gonna be topped and tied down to it...hopefully I'll have my other 600 and potentially hydroponics gear to compliment it

yeah the screen will go on top once sex is established....

sadly i think its too much that is a scrog with the regs, so i`ll just grow out what i can and hope for female.. then clone that mother for a three or 4 plant scrog or even two 2 plant ones...

is there an ideal height for colas in a scrog and is there a point where the height of the colas kinda defeats the purpose of a scrog?
