Well,,that is more of the old school thought.. More and more growers are flowerig newly rooted clones. The results are awesome.. and the same reults are true with healthy seedlings.. Usually, with 4-6 nodes a plant can be flowered with tremendous success.. soooooo many growers wait till their plants get 12-20 inches tall.. and then they can not provide enough light for the lower foliage...
Number of nodes is more important than height...
