Still ready to get started on my first grow been doing alot of reading before I jump into it and I have this curious question. I would like to no an estimate of how many ounces one plant could yield if it turns out its a female. Im going with a 5 plant bubbleponics setup with a 400w HPS and and a conversion of metal hyalide for the whole veggying/ flowering thing. Im just curious how much the average plant would yield doesnt have to be anywhere exact. Thanks!

Impossible to really guess before growing. If it's your first grow I have been told 1 oz is good for a first timer, hell, even 3/4.

That is one question which you will not get an answer to because it is extreemly hard to tell especially if you havnt grown before.

It also depends on how big you grow 'em before going to 12/12.

My finished height is usually below 3 feet, and typically yield 1+ once per.(just got, what should be 1/2z from a piece of crap plant that, I would have thought less then 1/2 that. Sometimes looks are deceiving.)

And now my question is: 12/12 I understand is the lighting you use when flowering. But, after you tell what the sex is and kill the guys how much longer can you grow the ladies before flowering? How exactly do you do the process?

if you let them veg long enough, they will show sex in veg. When to changing to 12/12 is up to you. But keep in mind that they will about double in size after the 12/12 switch (most in the first month) And is a sativa, it can be triple in size.

now as for sexing and such:
Think about taking a few cuttings from each and cloning them. Once rooted, toss the mothers into flowering. If the some of the mothers are fathers, toss them (or make seeds, not a bad thing either) Now you have plants flowering and new mothers in the veg area that will be prime for flowering once the first round of flowering is done. You can keep this going forever as a perpetual grow. Will always know its females since they are cuttings/clones.

But that would present a problem for me because I cant have different "aged" plants in the same reavoir can I with different needs of lighting circumstances?

And also I will be growing 100% indica strains since I like body highs... I hear I can have a full harvest start to finish in about 2 months? Is this about right with hydro? I no that soil is like 3 months or longer...
