hello friends, first time indoor hydro grower.Here are some pics of six weeks at 28 inches. Running one 400w mh and one 600w hps side by side ( as in pic ). I srarted with nine. The others just didnt make it. Now with four I see i couldnt grow nine, unless its" better to have more tall rather bushy plants per squere foot". My problem now is the plants are at 28"and I only 16 inches left to raise the lights.I am going to 12/12, do you think I have enough room to flower. Since I paniced I am trying to clone eight more four from each strain. These are from the most lowest on the stalk. Wont to clone more clons for my new crop from stronger limbs limb for my next grow.

you can clone from any limb of the plant. from the lowest part of the plant isbetter i think.

these were from the very bottom, my idea is to get larger,stronger clones to start with, how about more plant more tops are fewer bushy with tops

the smaller the clone you cut the better the chances of it rooting. 3" to 5" is a good size.

my first question is it better to have 4plants or 6 plants in the same squere footage

well if you do 4 or 6, then next time you will no for sure on how many to put unde the light.i would go with the 6first. goodluck

plan on around 56" tall when all is done, maybe more...

If you're worried about height, do a really big topping on your plants, let recover for a week or two then switch to 12/12. I had to do that one grow when I let my vegging plants get away from me. I basically cut them all in half and flowered them two weeks later.
