Time to wait before switching to 12/12

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyones done any indoor experiements about how long you wait before switching to 12/12... and what the outcomes of those experiments were..

for instance, if you switched to 12/12 after it gets its about 8 to 12 inches tall..

I have a black pearl plant growing right now and she's by far the best plant i've grown.. she's already grown so much faster than any other plant i've grown and is just producing leaves and shit so much faster.. gorgeous little plant..

anyways, i was wondering if i started the 12/12 while she was still a big young how it would effect crop and yield... I guess I wanna know if i let her get bigger will i have more popcorn buds, or if i switch her sooner i'll get just a handful of really nice colas...

From what i've read, this strain is a pretty nice producer and I want to aim on getting atleast 2 ounces, (4 perferably).. I'm growing with a nice lot of CFL's and may add some more soon (6 26-46 W/CFL's for now though)..

what you want to do is flower her when she is mature. the concencus here is wate till she has 5 blades on her leaves. with at least 5 nodes with alternating leaves. if she was growen from a seed. if a clone wate till she has a good root base. as far as yeald that is a strain related different strains yeald differently the better the root base the bette the yeald

ya, that's what i had done for my other grows.. i was just wondering about the effects if doing sooner/later... my plants about 3 weeks old now.. and she sprouted her first set of leaves (3) then the next set was 3, her 3rd set had 5 bladed leaves, and her 4 set had 7 bladed leaves.. i'm waiting for the next to have 9 lol.. is that a little strange that she has so many blades still kinda young?
