hey everybody, GKN here again to try and produce some heady nuggets!!
if you didn't see my last grow, just search diesel ryder 400 grow, it went pretty well and was my first go round with an autoflowering strain....i'm using alot of the same equipment...there's a bunch of strains, so here we go: 3 fem greenhouse himalaya gold, 7 nirvana white rhino, 5 kc brains kc33, 4 mandala hashberry, and then a bunch of freebies from the tude which are all fem and include white widow, durban poison, northern lights, and purple lady...oh yeah 5 of the free power skunks...that's a ton of strains i know, but i want variety!! this is my 1st go with 12/12 from seed so i'm hoping to get at least an oz per plant, if less on some no biggie...i germed all the beans using the paper towel method and they all cracked within 48 hrs...then they were put in rapid rooter soil plugs and on to the humidity dome they went..i had my shop 6500k fluoros on 24 hrs a day till they all popped up...i'm using 1 gal grow bags filled with perlite and fox farm ocean forest and for nutes the triple pack from fox farm and molasses for flowering...all my babies have been under my 400w MH set at 12/12 for about 4 days now...their gonna stay there for another couple weeks then i'm switching to my hps bulb...i have a cool mist humidifier and the fact I live in florida makes the humidity a wonderful 50-70 % and the temps are from 68-78 degrees F...other than that it's a pretty boring time right now so i won't have alot of pics...i hope everyones grow is going faboluous and all are welcome to comment! peace..

I'm thinking of trying a few 12/12 myself just to see first hand what it does. Have you done this before and were the results worth it?
oh yeah i did! thanks alot chuncky, i'm glad you're in for the ride...and mama, this is my first try with 12/12, i'm following this guys lead: 12/12 From seed to Harvest (1 oz Honies). And i did alot of reading over at icmag, there is a thread bout 12/12 that is 90 pages long and very helpful..
How are the seedlings doing in the FFOF? Ive thrown white widows( DP's) into Ocean Forest with no problems, but have burnt some other strains while using it at the seedling stage
Holy shit. You werent kidding were you? Hahah, im in for this one too, How comeyou can grow seedlings in FFOF but i cant? haha Everything always dies.

i've been using FFOF for my seedlings for a while now, i just let em spend at least 5 days under the fluoros in their rooter plugs and then i transplant...i've always hear bout folks burning their seedlings with this soil but it is yet to happen to me!? not sure if its dumb luck or sumpin specific that i'm doin right? either way i'm not smart enough to figure it out so i'm just gonna go with it !! LOL.....i do always mix alot of extra perlite into the containers....a few of my babies are showing some twisted leaves, so i'm not sure if it's genetic, the soil, or maybe their just the retardes of the group! they should be ok though, peace dudes..
