can you tell the difference between MH buds and HPs Buds?

I flower under two HPS and I have the ability to chose to make one of them an MH. I use 2 bulbs because I like the use of 2 400w's instead of a 600w or even a 1000w.

I care quite a bit about yeild. Potency is obviously very important, but I try to grow as much as possible. You can claim that potency is more important than quantity, but you sure get excited if you get 2 or 4 extra ounces out of your growing.

I can't give up on those 2 to 4 oz's for a little more potency when the shit I'm growing is already FIRE.

if you did one mh and one hps you wouldn't lose anything, only gain potency, the mixture is the best lighting setup to use, any pro out there will say to mix the two is the best option

I don't disagree with that, but I keep my lights right on top of my plants. The light spectrums wouldn't mix much and I would basically just have 1/2 buds grown under MH and 1/2 under HPS.
