hey i just ordered a seed called the church from green house seed co. i was wondering if anyone has grown this seed. it is femanized and i want to grow it to be a mother for clones. is a 65 w cfl 4700k gunna be enough to grow this in veg for a mother. i also got a 65w cfl 2700k. well this work to flower a few clones?? or well i need more

if your still interested to know, the church is a great strain, there are grow journals of it out there on this site (someone posted one on one of my threads too). you will probably need two 65 W bulbs too make sure it doesn't work, and the 2700K is only used in flowering. try to get it between 4700+ so its a blue light the plant can absorb. the daylight cfls are 5500K and good. You can also get the two attachment mogul socket (place where you screw in the lights) so both bulbs hang over simultaneously

I would try and get a 6500K bulb if you can. I keep 3 mothers and 6 younglings under a single 300w 6500k cfl and they love it.
2700k is great for flowering, but 65w is not gonna be enough or flowering.

This is not exact by any means but if you need 2 65w bulbs to veg you would want to go for 4 65w in flower, they want more lumins in flower.

Church OG is one of my favourite strains. such a perfect high.

when you say church "OG" what do you mean? different than the greenhouse version of the church?

the church was in hightimes top 10 strains for 2009... i hear its a very nice strain all around.. not very stoney or speacial looking but smell, taste, yeild and growth r great... if u search seed and strain reveiws u will find a guy that rated the church in all the quilities u would look for in weed... he also has a bunch of pics and its all in 1 post so its not much reading(gets rite to the point) i too am ordering sum... oh and aparently snoop dogg loves the shit and endorecesses it, or so hightimes claims
