Default Nutes: Dr. Hornbys Big Bud. any1 used it?

i was looking for some new nutes that i could see a difference with.

last grows ive used canna flores (NPK 2-2-4) with blackstrap molasses. when i stopped using molasses i noticed the difference. it didnt look like the canna flores was doing very much.

ive heard Dr.hornbys big bud is quite good and SOUNDS like it will make a visual difference.

ive just googled the product and there are pictures with different NPK ratios - i thought there was just one....... the NPK's were 0-2-4 (from a US site) and 0-1-4 from a UK site. is there a way of telling which bottle has which NPK?

also, if any1 has used this product, can you tell me the feeding guide lines that the back of the bottle gives. ive just read on the website i was about to order from:

"Use in weeks 2 to 4 in addition to the flowering feed. 5ml to 1ltr"

what? i have to use it in 2nd and 4th week of flowering? i was planning on using it through the whole flowering period. 5ml - 1ltr? wtf?

on the canna flores guide lines it says something stupid like, for every 1000 littres of water, add 100ml of nutes...... most people arnt gonna be using 1000 littres of water to feed a few plants. obviously i did the math and worked it out but the guide lines were stupid.

so yeah.... any input on big bud nutes?

im using the powder stuff and its .5 of a gram per litre through out bloom, great results but i use other stuf on top so couldnt say specifically what difference it would make just using it solo

whats the difference between the powder and liquid?

edit: does the powder come with a measuring spoon?

don't use it solo. the powder is 0-15-40

1/4 tspper gal. their is a big difference in turnout between the powder and liquid. with the powde bigger and harde buds.

i use advanced nutrients and bio bizz veg and bloom and just added hammerhead to the mix the powder is http://www.hydrohobby.co.uk/product/...ig_bud_powder/

i got the small pot and i've been using it for 6 months + and given some to friends and such and still have a fair bit left. as for a measuring spoon just weigh out .5 of a gram and use an appropriate spoon, i use a small coffee spoon with a line drawn on it!

right ok, well ill forget it then,lol. powder is more expensive than i wanted to spend really. plus cant get it from my usual site where i am buying lighting etc and cant use paypal.

if the liquid is gonna be dissapointing then ill have a look around. maybe at biobizz or somethin.
