Um I just think that the leds do give off a great spectrum but I think they are way under powered and from what Ive heard they produce a real fluffy nug. Im not saying that if you had enough of them they wouldnt work great but not sure. Electricity really comes into play cause its like running flouros compared to the HIDs and ballasts and the bulbs all gets very pricey. Id love to do a comparison but not in my budget yet. Hopefully sometime in the future.

i've heard some pretty good stuff about led grow lights but only a few. they barely take any electricity 2 grow.

i have been looking to grow sum SLH myself. ill make sure ur first grow is a success my man. so what stage of the game are u at? how many days has it been since u planted the seed? and also tell me what ferts u plan on using. if you dont know when to start using them, just ask. also, my biggest mistake as a n00b was overwatering the plant. just give it about 100 ml/day for the first few weeks. its one of the most common mistakes among new growers i hear.

here is a couple of charts that i found. im using the organic trio for soil. ive only used it at half strength so far and they are fine. by week 3 im sure it will be full strength every other watering. i didnt get the solubles though.

I just got 3 bags of soil free! I thought it would be cool, I mean there sittin outside the grocery store, AT NIGHT! It's still just as hard work no matter what you get for free! For reals.

I say give it a world with the LEDs and give a nice report on what they can do.
