Hey guys i was wondering if some 1 could inform me on what would be the best HPS light to use in a 4x4 hut that im going to be placing in my 6x6 closet. I am going to be growing sog using 2 4x2 units that hold 36 plants each on a prepetual cycle. Also I am in florida so it does kinda get hot. Is a 1000 watt 2 much even if i get a cool tube and vent the shit out of it. Let me know what you guys and girls think. Thanks

wow with those specs (4 x 4 1000w ) ? your gonna burn ya shit up ..600 or 750 hps air cool tube may work ? not sure w fla temps but...gl

cool tubes are really efficient if used properly and vented with cool air. in a 4x4 hut, a 400w will suffice, but a 600w will be better. A 1000w would be a little too much, especially because you run into dangers if you don't properly vent and because florida is kinda hot/humid and because a 4x4 hut is fairly small. Be sure to save "wasted light" by using some reflective material on the walls like mylar or panda foil. good luck on your grow
