i live in california, i work 4 a few medical clubs in the bay area, and i pray they dont legalize tree, i will vote against it, think about it!!!! all the goverment is doing is taking the growers money/jobs/profit, all they care about is money money money!!! i live off my 4 jobs at medical clubs i dont want the goverment taking mine and the thousands of other jobs so only goverment employees/family members get the jobs, everybody knows its who you know if your tring 2 get a job, if your uncle, aunt, cousin, mom, dad, friend works for the state, you get the job over somebody more suited, fuck the state/goverment all they want is money for them and there familys!!! i got 3 kids, 15 years old, 9 years old, and 6 years old, i smoke for medical reasons NOW but when i was young i smoked 2 get high, i over did it when i was young, all i cared about was smoking tree. i was lazy, i couldnt keep a job, i spend all my money on weed and after a few years i was snorting coke! tring crank! and using asid! it was a gate way drug, i dont want my kids smoking unless its for medical reasons, i dont want my kids 2 be able 2 buy tree at liquor stores, fuck that!!!! not every1 is strong enough 2 control it, i made alot of mistakes in my life and smoking tree at a young age started me down hill, i was a super star athlete baseball, football, basketball, and boxing, i fucked it all off smoking, i droped out in the 11th grade, i was garenteed a d1 scolarship in baseball, my youngest brother fucked off his football scolarship in the 11th grade too he started smoking and lost his drive, he was more gifted in sports than me, he broke records in football and track, we both believe that smoking tree put us on a different paths, i do not want my kids 2 think that smoking tree is ok and i dont want them 2 have easy access 2 it, i know everyone has there own opion and has had there own experence with tree but mine put me on the wrong path and opened the wrong doors 4 me, again i will vote against legilizing tree unless its 4 medical patients, what do you think about the goverment legalizing tree so they can sell it/tax it keep all the profit and give most the jobs 2 there family/people????????

I agree with you BCtrippin, and the point you threw out there about your kids, bieng a parent myself, you are sadly mistaken. Its easier for kids no a days to get pot than it is beer. They can go find any "friend that knows a friend" and then ur kids are dealing with who knows who to get weed. At least legalized it will be like alcohol and if they wanna get it they need someone over 21 to buy it or they gotta get a fake ID.

So your main concern seems to be the govt takin money and jobs away from you and "others". Have you not thought about all the jobs that this would bring, huge producing factories that would employ lots of workers, more transport companys to move it all = more jobs, retail stores where it can be purchased = more jobs. Not to mention the tons of side company's that would benefit directly. Now you take all this extra jobs and tax and it pumps the economy up, better economy means more ppl willing to employ or start business which means more jobs and money for "you" and everyone else.

Just think if you wipe'd all of alcohol and tabaco, think about all the income and tax revenue that would be lost like that. All the jobs that would go away and all the bars and clubs that would close = more jobs and money lost. The economy would take a huge hit and tank. I cant see anyway that legalizing marijuana would hurt the economy or take jobs. Only jobs that would be lost would be the black market dealers of it now. Take your argument elsewhere it wont make it far here....

I was having this discussion with my friend and basically what is boils down to is the black market. When ever you want something wholesale, you can't go into the medical club and get a few pounds, you buy it on the black market. There will be regulations on the maximum amount, just like the wackass 5 gram limit in Amsterdam. In my opinion, the clubs are their for the innocent folks who just dont want to be fucked with. The white collar guy who likes to get high and is afraid to roll down Crenshaw looking for the best strain of Haze and getting robbed by a real crack head.
