Here is my first attempt at cloning. I am using a gh rapid rooter.

1. soak in ph and low strength nutes
2. cut at 45 and remove some outside skin
3. squeeze end to remove air and add cloning powder
4. Heating pad



Know I will let it set over night in dark then start 24/0 light tommorow.

Did I forget anything or should this work!

Don't put it on 24/0.

Put it on 18/6 - unrooted clones need dark periods to put down roots quickly.

There's a tad too much rooting hormone but it won't matter really.

id preffer cloning gel it seems to work better and faster and i use rockwool cubes i threw a clone in a dirt pot one time just after cuttin it with no rooting hormone just dirt and water and it rooted so cloning is super easy no worries bro you got this

I'm tryin out. Lining for the first time an tryin to figure out when is the right time to cut trimmings for cloning also how to determine if I'm cloning a female or an male plant if anyone could help

You don't need rockwool, Rapid rooters, or anything else. Dont worry I have used em all. Fresh water, razor, angle cut then into water, once you have all the clones in the water take your net pots and be ready. Take one at a time out with razor shave the bottom skin to about 1.5 to 2", put root hormone on em, place it tub, I use areo and never have even one die. No chlorine water with no nutes. 18/6 lights and not to close till they don't wilt if they do. They will be fine if your temps, PH 58-7, Not that high for anything but veg newbie plants. Trust me they dont mind the higher ph when in veg but 5.8 to 6.5 is ideal. You are done. No dome needed unless you are in the dry desert. Areo is easy and the only sure fire way to do this the right way indoors. Don't put your lights to close until like I said they are not wilting... GL Trust me I have done everything and learned by the hard knocks school...
