When is the best time to Top a plant?

i got 5 plants right now just put em into 12/12 on the 3rd of march their all over 15inchs..the tallest one i want to top it's a 29inch hybrid (BLUE DREAM clone) been vegetated for a lil over a month under a 600watt hps..my question is, is it to late to top a plant that big and a plant that has already been introduced to 12/12??

Best time is to top when they are younger (size/production wise) and usually in the vegetative state.

I never top my plants when they are younng you can top your plants if you want them to grow out but i like them to keepyhere natural shape untill,the second week of flowering them i will top the plant take of the main shhot at the topand you will get two buds instead of two if it has 2 brance's comeing off top both and you will end up with 4 nice buds.what a load of shit your too late people need to know what they are saying b4 giveing advice could have cost you 1 extra bud on each plant fool.

yea i heard top it the day u go into flowering but i wasnt sure..so u think its coo to top a plant almost 3ft just into flowering?

Yes this gives your plants whitch have now started there flowering period chance to form another nice big bud for you.by not topping your plants un the second week you are loseing valuble nugs.wouldnt go any futher than the end of the second week though.topping plants when they are so small i know alot of people do it but let it get some height.but def lolly pop them you want all the food goig into makeing you buds not leaves.and als only water when dry i keep saying it but i can't get this though to this site enougth this will stop plants from been root bound too early check with the top 3 ince of you finger.FOLLOW THE STEM ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP THEN SNIP OFF THE NEW GROWTH SOME HAVE TWO BRANCES DO IT TO BOTH THAT CALLED A 4 WAY SPLIT AND 4 NICE NUGS WHERE YOU WOULD HAVE ONLY HAD ONE.

yea i water my plants once every 4 days or so and its a 3gallon bucket..so u think i should top it? its kinda scary ur first time i dont wanna fuk up..its my biggest plant to..but what do u mean lolli pop? what the hell is that?

Dont Top them, I find that it wont increase your yield much at all and it just stresses out the plant especially at this stage of its life.

some people told me the same shit they said look into FIMing but i 4got to look it up.. i might look it up n try that i heard lots of good stuff about it and ur suppse to yield more and bigger colas with FIMing then topping i guess

FIMing is the way to go but I think you have left it a bit late to reap the benefits of FIMing.

Here is what a good FIMmed plant looks like. Can you count the main colas?

And yes that is one plant along the back of this pic.
