Default Need Tips on First outdoor grow
Hi everyone, this year i am planning on growing outside for the first time and would really appreciate any tips for me since i am new to growing. I have done some research and i would like to use auto flowering strain, but i don't know if they would do well outside, anyone know if they do or not? Well if so, anyone know a good strain to use? I have heard a little about people growing lowryder 2 outside. My last 2 questions are what is the best way to germinate the seed, because i have heard a lot of different ways, and finally what type of soil or nutrients should i use for the plants and should i plant it in the ground or keep it in a pot. I know i have alot of questions but i would really appreciate any answers even if its only for one of the questions. thanks so much everyone

For germinating seeds I use the paper towel method (fold seeds up inside a paper towel, moisten it, keep it moist for a couple days by watering it and putting a plastic bag over it helps to slow evaporation, in a couple days, 2-6, they should show taproots. then put them in dirt) Other methods work as well, so don't put too much stock in anyone's claim that their method is THE method.

I'm not an expert, but I've heard autoflowering strains are great for outdoors. They are often hardier against cold and pests since they have some tough Ruderalis traits in their genetics. And of the autoflowering strains I think Lowryder 2 is pretty good (vigorous grower and decent high). I've also heard good things about Diesel Ryder, but that seems to be harder to get.

good luck!
