2 of my female plants are like 8 - 10 weeks into flowering, they have nice bushy buds but they have started producing seeds.
A couple of males must of got to them before i had chance to notice early on. :( Just wondering is their any point in continuing to grow them or will the weed be a shit smoke ?

heya.

You may have had an errant hermie bust a nut on ya that you didn't see...or a male may have opened a flower or two before you removed 'em from the space...

either way, the potency of the smoke won't be diminished all that much and I would finish them out as you would any other plant. If you want to make sure the seeds are mature, wait to harvest until you can see the seed as the pod breaks open and exposes it.

good luck with the finish

budsmoker get out of here with that bullsh*t....all strains have hermie genes some have more hermie genes like bag seeds just because it got self pollinated maybe. dosnt mean that they will all be hermies its just a slightly greater chance of being a hermie. like seed companys seeds are like a 5% chance of becomng a hermie so if it was a hermie and it self pollinated then i would say its a 25% chance of being a hermie plant. maybe a little bit less of a chance.

dont know for sertain until you grow the seeds to analyse the hypethsis and see if your theory is correct. so i might be off a little but your hella off the right track.

my plants did the same thing. about 8 weeks in, with good flowers formed, all 4 produced about a half dozen seeds each.

if you're like me, you removed the males as soon as they showed balls instead of flowers. there's no way they could be polinated by those immature males! which mean, to me, all my plants were hermies.

it's possible, i suppose, that when i took a 5 day trip, and my friend had to water the plants for me durring the dark period, that they were stressed to TURN hermie. but these were bag seeds of reggie, mex dirt. so, more then likely they were genetically hermies.

herms are supposed to be less potent because of energy put into the seeds. but in my case, if their mothers had seeds to begin with, THEY must have been hermie. so, the smoke can't be too different. which means...shitty mex dirt weed. oh well, it's still grow experience. i wouldn't trade the knowledge. and i wouldn't destroy your plants. it's valuble experience.
