Arrow Stems = THC??
Hey guys, this is my first time posting here, sorry if I mess it up somehow.
I have a question about stems & I didn't really know where to put it.
My friend, whom I got to start smoking unintentionally a few years ago, basically thinks she knows everything about bud that there is to know. She also gives advice to people on it that's..not..correct? It's actually pretty funny. But anyway. She INSISTS that there is THC in stems & that you can get lifted off 'em & all that nonsensical nonsense. My question is, do stems really have THC in them. I have seriously been really adamant about the fact that they don't, but I always think I can be wrong & I'm not trying to be a pompous ass hole. So I wanna get the facts. ANY help would be greatly appreciated (:

your friend is sort of right... but the only real way to get any good use out of just stems would be to make stem tea then you would get a bit off it but from my experience nothing to great i just stick to my buds

Smoking stems = headache.
There is a lot more THC in male leaf than in a stem, and we all know what male leaf is like to smoke.
Your'e friend knows jack shit I'm afraid.

Stems and stalks make great tooth brushes, and jewelry.

Stems have a very small amount of thc in them but outside of them theres a whole bunch of drooping resin crystals on them that will get you pretty high, I would not smoke the stem but make hash out of it or hash oil maybe, thats the only way to cycle the stems thc content.

i wouldnt say they arent worth smoking... depends how resinous of a strain you have... if you hacve a strain like jack herer you may notice that there is a TON of trichomes on some of the stems... if you are smoking reg you shouldnt bother. i do agree however, if you have a more resinous variety you should just rub the trichomes off of the stems and roll it between your fingers until you get a good little ball of finger hash and smoke that instead... this will prevent headaches.
