For flowering ideally 100w or more, of 2700k light. However I use just 75w of light from 5 15w CFL's to flower and i get decent results.

Yeah just make sure u flower with 2700k im using 8 23w 2700k and 4 23w 3500k and so far im getting great results. Im pretty sure the 6500k will work but its better to use that to veg and then switch to 2700k. Great luck man let me kno if u still hav questions.

the wattage really does not matter until your calculating electric bills. The lumen amount is what you should pay attention to. Yes, you can flower with florescent with decent results as long as you get enough of them to equate to a good amount of lumen output. And because your using cfls, and want the maximum amount of light (or lumens) per square foot, Its ideal to get that light as close as possible without burning foliage. I look at it like this: The sun hits the earth at an average of 10000 lumens per square foot. Because the sun is the ultimate light source, mimicing it as close as possible usually yeilds better plants.
They do look good too, your plants btw. hope at least some of this info helped...

I definitely agree that the sun is the ultimate grow lamp and to mimic it would give u the greatest yeild........ However when you are using lesser wattage CFL's this becomes quite difficult. The minimum lumens per sq ft required to grow decent bud is 3000 to 5000 p sq ft. Im not saying it cant be done with less because i do it with less but the more the beter.

This might help too

15w cfls produce about 850-950 lum s

20w produce 1100-1200

23-26 produce 1350-1700

42-47w produce 2400-2700

65-85w produce somewhere around 4200

These are all just rounded numbers as the lumens vary from maker to maker but is close.

This is only my opinion but if your on a limited budget i think its better to surround your plant with alot of smaller wat cfls instead of having one large watt cfl since they have pretty low intensity light. It seems to penetrate the canopy better for me. :bigjoint:

Not so much an age thing as a size thing. U can pretty much clone whenever but a healthy more mature mother plant will lead to better clones. Iv'e been waiting till about the 3rd or 4th node and about 3 or four inches long. :blsmoke:
