I was wondering what the life span of pollen released by a plant is? I had a hermie release some pollen in my room about three weeks ago and I'm about to start some new seeds. It allrdeady did its damage to the rest of the room, but im wondering if trace pollen left can pollinate the new plants im going to start. Also can plants only be pollinated during the flowering phase or can it happen during vegging too? Thanks for any help. :bigjoint:

it is possible but not likely. usually can store up to 6 months, but that is in a freezer. I would imagine the lights would have degraded it by now. good luck

I was also wondering if plants can be pollinated when they are in the Veg. phase or just in the flower phase? And maybe an ave. time pollen can survive in indoor conditions??

Your plants cant be pollinated in veg.

Pollen can survive a long time in ideal conditions, 3-6 months if its dry and put in the freezer.

I would take the veg plants out, get a spray bottle and fill it with water and a bit of bleach and go nuts spraying down the grow area. Disinfect the shit out of everything, it will kill any mold, mildew, and pollen. Get everywhere, anywhere dust might settle, fan blades, everything.

DO NOT spray your plants with the bleach water!!!!!!!

You should however spray your veg plants down with some good fresh PHed water.
