I saw a dude put 4 inch thick sheet of styrafoam in the top of an aquarium, it floats, and cut holes in it for grow cups. He had all kinds of air stones and bubblers in it.
Now that is what I call DEEP Water Culture! DWC

I dont think it'll work..maybe if u had 2 of em, one on top of the other.. but besides that i think its too small, the pots alone will take away half the height of that aquarium....the lights will take away the rest of it
