I dont know what is going to happen with one of my 44 inch girls... they are second week of flowering and I was tying them down this evening and the seventh and last one snapped just where the base of the woody trunk is meeting the main stem. I specifically heard a "snap" but she was still attached a bit. I righted her and supported the stem back right up. It is thoroughly supported from three spikes and zip ties. any other pointers or maybe some vitamins?

Do you think she will live through the night or am I going to lose her for sure.......?

Has anyone else had a problem like this and she has lived to make beautiful flowers?? Or was it the opposite?

wrap it, with some seran wrap, and then some electrical tape... the plant can heal some pretty bad wounds... i'll try and find a link with pictures to show you

"Last year, my cat toppled over one plant, she was a decent size too, about 48" tall, and she snapped right in half! Not completely through, but broke in half, and I got a straw, took a razor and sliced it down the middle and wrapped it around the stem, like a bandage. Within 5 days, it was completly healed.
What was kind of neat was that where it broke was about double the thickness of the rest of the stem cause the plant was concentrating on that one spot."

and in general, stuff to fix a broken plant:
-straws
-tape
-tooth picks
-wire or/and string
-bamboo sticks and slivers
-pieces of pvc pipe use for ele. wiring
-and normal tools of trade (razors, knife, scissors and such stuff)

even if i'm not to impressed with this wire method since it can do easily more harm the good... stick to straws, tooth picks and some tape and be fine
