lower fan leaves +rep

hi, i cut some of the lower smaller leaves because i am doing a sog-like setup, now i am wonderin whether i can remove the lower larger fanleaves that do not receive a lot of light. im growin 4 bigbangs under 250 mh. they are in week 3 flowering

Yes if you want to but they do produce a lot of energy for the buds/plant.

should be fine early into flowering. keep it to a minumim as far as how many.

Dont ever remove a healthy leaf! Theres really no point, even if its receiving very little light, if its healthy, leave it alone. Once the lower leaves turn yellow and die then I would remove them.

i would remove them within the last 10 days of flowering helps to send more engry to the buds.

How do you figure?

thanks for the prompt replies. i think ill leaf them on since i was only going to do it if it serves a recognized purpose.

Where ever you heard this its not true. The fan leafs are the only part of the plant that MAKES energy. If a fan leaf is healthy why would you remove it before harvest?
