There's a marijuana operation going on next to one of my fishing spots. It's about 150 yards from the stream through the woods, and I've walked through it before, before I ever realized it was private property and there was a pot farm there.

Anyways, whenever I'm walking along the stream and near the pot farm, I can smell maple syrup. Does maple syrup have any use in the production of marijuana? Why would I smell this originating from a pot farm?
