It doens't say anything anywhere about buying a pack first. I have never bought seeds before. Being a mm patient it is not necessary. Not trying to scam taking them at their word. They should have said free after purchase if that is what they meant. I think they were phishing for personal info. They can make $$$ off of selling it.
