So today I decided to clone my motherplant.

The thing I did wrong is I scrathed 360 degress arround the bottom of the clone before putting it in the gel.

Sooo what do u guys think about that?

Did you cut the end under-water ??

I cut it from the plant at 45 degress , put it in the water couple seconds , took it out scraped 360 degres , put it back in the water couple more seconds took it out , put it in the gel then plant it... sooo....?

It depends how they react. Cutting up the end can increase sites for new roots. Its also always best to cut through a node for the bottom of the clone.

be suprised the places life can crop up from . . iv seen good results from both the cutting underwater and the dipping in water after cutting method.
not sure about the 360scrape method , im gona hav a look for that - rooting can take a fortnight so give em sum time , if your really worried re-do a couple cuts under water and dont 360 them maybe?

I enjoy a roleplay - but when i roll there is no play..

....cutting under water is a waste of time. I get 100% success rates for rooting and have never cut under water, just cut them, dip them in water then in rooting gel, then stick them in rockwool cubes in a Humidity dome.
