new bud growth on ripe buds

my plant has been in flower for too long. not an exceptional length of time considering its cooler growth temps.

it appears the last two weeks the plant has been growing new bud off of the sides of the other buds. good looking, more bud. but the old bud looks finished and should be considering time, but the new growth is well new. i could let it go for 7 more weeks before it would be done..

is this normal?

perhaps was there too much stress?


just about all of the leaves are yellow even the bud leaves.


should i just pick the finished buds and ignore the newer growth?

possible light leak man, it caused it to re-veg. i cut my ripe buds, and it grew another 1/4 0 @ the bottom...lol

i wondered if somehow that was going on...


is it normal at all???

who cares thats great harvest the mature buds let the other ones keep growing your plant will double bud try not to damage many steans and branches post more pics soon

I've got the same!!! new bud growth shooting out of the buds!! I'm gonna wait till it slows I guess..

just about a few days later i hacked em down. all the grown parts started to look like they needed to come down asap. the new growth was so minimal it didnt matter much..


first plant ever so not bad.. its real sticky.

how long was it flowering

it was bag seed.

flowered for like 11 weeks. i think way to long. maybe stressed from low night temps.. not sure... it is curing and smells super. whatever the outcome, it was well worth its time as the first of mine 2 go from seed to bud..

you are spot on with the cause m8, its due to the low temps ,mines the same, low temp when the lights off,on week 14 now 12/12,but luvly big fat sticky buds, just takes a few weeks longer !maybe low temps when lights go out improve things ?? seems to have proved fine in my case !!

I'm chopping mine also. Buds are growing new small buds, but don't want to wait much more. I want to re-veg so I want to get growth nutes back in there. I'd rather cut down what there is right now and get to revegging (I almost killled my plants in veg that were going to go into flower so I need to reveg everything).....

good to know thats what was going on.. i dont think it hurt her much. but i will wonder. most night time temps in the later weeks of her life were 50-60. that was my first plant from seed to harvest, so i know be able to see the difference in a few...

interesting sitution you are in... all the buds i chopped down were finished except a few new growths... they turned out great. but dont go to early.. I would be interested in see a picture when you put it back into veg..

I will post from work this week. My first run, just over, was in soil/soiless mix. Did ok, but yield seemed low. Trying DWC for first time, everything was going well till I had a huge problem (used powedered nutes, PPM read low in water, but powder got stuck in roots and devastated my plants). I decided to try re-veg to see how it goes. I'll let you know in a couple weeks. Left some leaves and parts of buds plus some small buds... hope it works.

My buds looked normal, then I had all these new little shoots of them. pretty crazy.

My next round is Flo that you are supposed to be able to continually harvest a while. What I don't get is how you flush/not get nutes in harvested buds without killing/starving the plants. Laters

I have a Blue Hash plants that has little new growths forming on the sides and tips of cola's. It had about 50% wilted hairs. Then in the last few days it shot alot more white hairs out. The triches are about 50% amber so she's way ripe but not from the naked eye. White hairs everywhere! What do I do?
