k i jus put some seeds into the dirt and now the tips r jus pokin threw and the shells are just breaking away...when should i put a light on them or put em outside?

depends on several things. first is your local weather, if it is pleasantly warm and sun you can go ahead if it surely stays that way. if you can't be sure of this or it isn't even nice outside you should rather get a few CFLs with cool white light (6500K) for your plants.

oh, and if you head outsides consider also the height of this plant, they grow taller outsides, a well hidden and sunny place and something for protection, starting with some rabbit mesh fencing to keep little critters away from your babies.

not if it warm enough and not to hot and backyards are full of "wildlife" so watch out, really, all kinds of stuff is preying on young plants! and if it is a mouse or a little bird, that is all it takes. so be warned

their in pots on my deck...and all the wild life is gone, i live in the suburbs and the only animals i got to worry bout is the ones wit 2 legs that love stealin em. and is it ok to use miracle grow in the soil and use blood meal half way threw the season?

k thanx...maby thats y last year i brunt the plants lol...what nutes would u sugest to use? i have these lil ball things that ur suposed to put a few pellets around the plant so it leeches into the soil. i think they r called blood meal cuz when i tried it las year a few got dug up by deer(the plants in the bush) and coons. and the ones in my back yard got no disturbance from any animals, but were small fat bushes of bud.

really, do yourself the favor and do not use time released nutes, these are time released killers you won't want to have around our babies

have a look for seeding soil, this comes without added nutes but added perlite to lighten the soil and enhance drainage of water. if you can't get this pre-mixed buy perlite pure and mix it with cheap untreated soil in term of nutes. and get some decent weed nutes for your grow too as well as a simple pH test kid. cost a few bucks but what is the going price around you for pound of finest weed?

go it pro stuff such as hesi which i used for years now or bio bizz which is a bit more advanced since organic fertilizer are not so easy to control as pure synthetic ones.
i would use any of those pellets, sounds like time released nutes. see you have to pH everything to prevent damage from nutes, this subject is quite tricky and you can easily screw up.
