So I got a pot book for xmas and it said if you fully dip your cuttings in some wax it eliminates the need for the humidity dome anyone try this?

Why not just mist it with water occasionally?

It's just a spray that stops the plant from loosing moisture thought the leaves. I don't know if there's any wax in it or anything.

It's better than water because you only need to use it once, then no misting with water or humidity dome even at times.

I don't use it, it's another expense I don't need.

But it sure is a timesaver and makes cloning a whole hell of a lot easier for a lot of folks, including those who can't seem to clone a plant to save their own lives.

How are you going to do that? Grab the clone and hold it down while a buddy takes a buffer to it?
