The other day my friend told me about this.
He said to keep all your stems until you have a large amount. Then let them sit in vodka for a couple days and the thc would go into the vodka?

I've heard of people doing this with marijuana leaves, not the stems though. It's basically the same principle as hash. THC is insoluble in water, but it is soluble in alcohol. So if you add some leaves to vodka, the THC will transfer to the alcohol. And the higher the proof the alcohol is, the better the THC transfers to the drink. You can also increase the ability to leach the THC into the vodka by heating the vodka up (therefore increasing its ability as a solvent) in a sauce pan and adding the leaves. Of course this method will result in you losing some alcohol if you heat it up too much.

You can also just add a bunch of leaves to an alcohol bottle and keep it in a dark, cool place for a month or two to achieve the same relative outcome.

I've never heard of using the stems though. Good luck.

Ingredients
1/2 ounce cannabis
1/5 liter 95% ethanol (190 proof)

Directions
Grind the cannabis into a fine powder. Put into light-proof glass container with the ethanol and let sit for 2-10 weeks, shaking daily. For a unique zing, add 1 tablespoon of lemon or orange zest with the cannabis and ethanol. Serve chilled in a cold glass with 3 ice cubes, 1 shot of Green Dragon, 3 shots of citrus soda (like Sprite or 7UP), and a teaspoon of honey.

Yeah i know loads of mates who have used the stalks. Gotta use loads of them tho, like fill 1/2L bottle with them
