Ok so here is my set up , and the question i have is can i possibly yield 2 ounces per plant with a veg time of 1-2 months, with this crazy hydro set-up and my big buddha cheese, o.g. kush and paradise seeds white berry..........????????? So that means 12 plants times 2 oZ;s = 24 0z's

So i have all house and garden nutrients, the aarde nute part a and b, drip clean and root stimulator, this crazy 12 pothydro unit, all the info in detail is at the bottom, the reason it works so great is that the pots are bottom fed and other than tipical units where the water is poured on the medium and thats it, this system sucks the water back into the res after its saturated which creates a vacuum bringing air to the root zone= better oxygen to H2o ratio...

Ya 2 ounces from each with 1 month of veg should be doable and with 2 months of veg you should have more than that, but it depends a lot on the light that you are using.

ya im gonna get a 6" cool tube 1000wt hps, and a 200 light blue/red led board, and a light to medium dose of Co2

Ya you shouldnt have any problem gettin those yields with the 1000W HPS, personally I think the LEDs are a waist of money but thats up to you.

They are great for supplimentary light, they give off different spectrums than hps so you get a good mixture if al spectrums, plus you want alot of reds yellows and purples during flowering, the led put off a bluish purply color it should make it a lil bit betterand add watts and lumens to the equation, one 100 wt led is= to a 400 wt hps

Ya but they are way to expensive, need to be really close to work so they wont cover much area, and they only put out light strait infront of them further limiting coverage. You also arnt going to get any different spectrums from them than you would an HPS, you just get selected spectrums so you wont get as many as the HPS puts off.

The whole plan is great except for adding LED's. LED's added to a system with a 1000w hps is like using a flashlight in full sunlight. I know you think added spectrum blah blah blah. No, there just simply is not enough lumens coming out of them to do a damn thing. If you want to play the broad spectrum game absolutely do add a metal halide, or better yet pulse start halide.

While the LED's will do nothing in your situation, the money you would have spent on them will buy a 1000w halide a couple bulbs and a couple years of the added electricity.

I guarantee you 2kw on that system with 1 month veg or slightly more will easily net you double what you've quoted so far yield wise, provided you continue to do your homework and care for them properly.

Nice system btw... I'm thinking about trying a very similar hydro system soon.

Really nice system. I'm currently on my second grow with it. I like that I won't be growing out of it anytime soon. Last grow I grew 8 plants, this time I'm doing 5. I expect to get a good 2 ounces per plant.

With a 1000 hps and 30 day veg, that system should bring you 2 lbs, IF everything is dialed in.
