I recently got some fox farms ocean forest soil but i got a huge bag of it and it was way more than i thought. The size of the bag isnt a problem but im not going to be using most of it for awhile. Im going to start like 2-4 plants tommorow or the next day, theyre germinating now.

I was wondering, once the bag of soil is opened, can it go bad or get to dried out to use????

This may seem like a stupid question but i dont want to waste a whole bag of soil by accident so i want to know before i open the bag.

Also can peat pots get dried out or go bad if they are old?

The only way it could go bad is if you keep it moist and it molds, if it does that then you just bake it in the oven long enough to kill the mold.
