Don't discount the perlite. I used some pea gravel last year which was extremely rude and meant me bodily harm. Luckily I was uphill of them at the time of revolt.

The problem is remembering why you walked into home depot in the first place... Its like any store. I go to the grocery store for milk and come back with pizza chocolate and beer. About the time I walk into the house I remember I forgot the milk...LOL
