hi, im new 2 seeds this is only my second round growing from seed i got49 seedlings going there about 10 days to 3 weeks i have them on 18-6 i just noticed that 3 of 8 purple wreck have turned male, there only 8 inches and have 4 good sets of leafs is this normal why are they turning male in 18-6, also how soon do males drop pollen i dont want the females i get 2 produce seeds, this is the worst part my ezcloner is in the same area as the males were,are my clones ruined?? PLEASE HELP IM NEW 2 SEEDS

u r prolly mistakin male pollen sacs with future leaf development from the nodes

What is your question? Just throw the males away if you sure that they are males and grow out the rest of the plants, any females you have arn't going to get pollinated before they have flowers.

it could be a male and female if you cloned a female plant or if you bought a fem seeds. if they are in stress they have a chance of being a hermafradite.why dont you put a pic up?

the males are from seed and only the purple wreck turned male in 18-6 all my other seeds are still in grow, if the 3 males droped pollen while my females and female clones are in veg will it still be there when i flower and if so what can i clean them with 2 get rid of all the poillen, thanks all

No it wont be viable when the ladies start to flower, moisture kills pollen so if your super paranoid just mist everything with a little bit of water.

for plants to be showing sex 3 weeks in is VERY unusual, thats way too soon. I think you are just freaking out for no reason and you don't have any plants that have shown sex yet.

If you supply pictures of said plants we can help you much more.


FWIW plants don't turn male, they were always male to begin with.
