Not to say your opinions are bad or anything, but naturally id like to have more.

Any more input on what is the best medium for highest yeild and speed? I read somewhere awhile ago that DWC is it, but dont remember any details.

Its trial and error with stuff, what might not work for one grower will work for another you have alot to choose from id say do some research online etc. best of luck...

Yeah, I agree about the research. I think the general consensus is that soil is the easiest. Hydro is a little harder but in my opinion not all that difficult. The yields are better than soil though. Aeroponics is the most difficult and/or expensive but gives the highest yields.

Personally, I'm going with a DWC (Deep Water Culture) system right now using rock wool starter cubes placed into net pots filled with hydroton. The advantage of a DWC system is it can be done DIY without a lot of trouble or expense. I'm thinking I would like to step up to Waterfarm units in the future and use the DWC equipment to aerate the reservoirs. This combines the advantages of a drip system which is a good watering solution for seedlings with the advantages of DWC for larger plants. I think the Waterfarm units are pretty popular here for that reason.

I've read a lot on this site and others to come to the conclusion that this is what will likely work for me.

soil is way easier, coco coir may be the best all-round producer since it seems to soak up nutes so well and has the ability to aerate itself. go organic and you can't go wrong
