so i built an aero cloner, but i didnt buy any of that spray on rubber stuff, just put duct tape all over, lots of layers. so its mostly covered, but i figure its not completely pitch black in the bin where the roots would grow cuz theres some small holes where the air tubes and the power cord for the heater goes in. so how important is it?

so nobody knows? well there is definitely a reason you are supposed to darken the tubs so.....idk i guess if anyone knows please tell me their secrets!

I find it is pretty much needed if you dont have it them they will just sit in the water if they get started then you should be find but for the extras 5$ get some paint
