Hi, i just about got my room squared away, let me know what you think or what i should change.

MOTHER/CLONE:
Inter Metro shelving
Rainforest 36
Sunlight Supply 5xT5 x 48"
Simple set up. shelving holds the lights and rainforest. Mother is also stored here.

FLOWERING:
equipment:
Seceret Jardin 5x5x7-6 tent.
Tent is ok, i give it a 4/5 rating. The tent has tons of pin holes, and you can actually see the glow of 1200w of lights
through it. Funcion is great, love the location of the zippers and vents. The larger tents are a PITA to set up alone.

2x600 HPS on lumetek digital ballast
hydrofarm daystar AC's
GH Rainforest 66

Climate Control:

can fan 8ho on can 66 carbon filter. Set up as recirc inside the tent.
can fan 6ho running both hoods. Fan is outsided the tent and exausts thought the lights and out the tent.
botteled co2
green air products PPM-1 co2 controller.(set at 1200-1500 depending on the stage of growth)

Control equipment:

Litermeter III dosing system.
auto exchanges resivor solution at 2/ gallon per day. It takes a flow rate of fluid and divides
that quantity by 160 to give a specific dose over a 24 hour period. I have it set to take 2 gallons out and put two gallons
in for a 24 hour period. SPECTRAPURE LITERMETER III

Aquamedic Dosing pumps.
These dosing pumps run on my main system controller to keep the ph at 6. one pumps ph up and one pumps ph down depending on need.
Neptune Systems Aquacontroller III.
This is the brain of my system. It controls the lights, heat, ph, fans etc. You use simple IF and THEN commands to tweak the system
to your needs. You assign channes lables (like PM2 is the light fan, LT1 is light one, etc) and tell it what socket on the strip to
turn off or on. ITs also set up as fail safes if the temp rises within certain parameters.
Here is an example of my programing, if anyone here uses the same sytem please let me know how you have it set up.
Neptune Systems - AquaControllers - Products.
If Time > 21:00 Then LT1 ON
If Time > 06:00 Then LT1 OFF
If Time > 21:00 Then CO2 ON
If Time > 15:00 Then CO2 OFF
If Time > 21:00 Then PM1 ON
If Time > 15:00 Then PM1 OFF
If Time > 06:00 Then LT2 ON
If Time > 15:00 Then LT2 OFF
If Temp > 91.9 Then LT1 OFF
If Temp > 93.0 Then LT2 OFF
Max Change 030 M Then LT1 OFF
If Temp > 60.0 Then PM2 ON
If Temp < 75.0 Then HET ON
If Temp > 78.0 Then HET OFF
Max Change 030 M Then HET OFF

I come from a reef aquarium background and found that alot of the same type of equipemnt can be usefull for both hobbies.
i am a new MM patient here in colorado and enjoy the high tech aspect of growing, weither its coral or pot. Currently, my system is running great. My temps stay at 87* in the day and 72* at night. The co2 is maintained perfectly with the system currently set up. (no airconditioning, no tent ventelation either. )

All that said, this is my first setup in about 5 years. ITs all new and untried. I hope to have good success with everything, i will keep you posted. If there is something you want to see let me know and i will shoot it.
Please let me know what you would change or add to this system.

Thanks for looking.

I will post some photos of the tent today.

It is rated for 600w, and with 600w the light does not bleed through the material.

Thats one of the reasons, pin holes show in every seem with the recommend light. 1000's of pinholes. Not that it really matters, my tent is in a very very tight room. But for people that dont have that they would be dissapointed. The other is the difficulty of set up.

So how many plants are you planning on? What strain(s)? What type of grow [SOG, ScrOG, perpetual, etc.]? What about ventilation? What fans [and their CFM] are you using?

I plan on doing 3 flowering, 3 veg, and one or two mothers.
Im not doing SOG, have no idea what ScrOG is, and not perpetual. I dont need that kind of production.

Current strains i have are blueberry, white widow, and hindu kush. current 2 week old crop is blueberry.

There is zero ventalation out of the tent. the 8x8 room is vented up in the celing of the basement. This is a basment room with concrete walls on two sides. The basement room is still under construction, the vent that runs the lights will go up in the celing and over in the dropped celing area in the basement celing. The 8x8 room is framed out with doubled up 2x4 walls with alternating studs on each wall so vibration wont tranfer through the studs. so in other words my walls are actually 2x8 construction with 8 inches of insulation in the walls and celing. Noise and security are my main concerns. I have to much family over to worry about them seeing my medicine cabnet.

wow... You have 2 600w HPS's and your temps are only 87* without any ventilation?! Thats pretty damned good!
yes! my first post here was questioning how hot it could get. I was told to try it and find out so i did. It helps that the ambient temp of the basement room is never above 60 degrees. I live at 9000' and the cold concrete walls act like a huge heat sync. I actually have a oil heater in the tent on the aquacontroller to keep it at 75* when the lights are off. At this very moment it is only 84* in there, which concerns me that it is not hot enough for the co2 to be effective. :(

its hard to wade through all the information you read. some places say that 80 is ideal, some say 85, some say your plants croak at 90, some say they do best with co2 at 90.. so confusing lol. Im shooting for 85/75 veg and 85/70 flower. My plants are reacting very well so far to the setup. the stalks are thick, the plants are bushy and the leaves are huge.

I really am a set it and forget it kind of guy. i love the gadgets and equipment. I also run a bit paranoid even with the liscense. I have a laptop that wirelessly connects to my aquacontroller and i can shut the whole system down besides the carbon (you can controll all the channels manually if you like) if someone should decide to drop by unexpected.

The litermeter might make me sound lazy, but what i am going for is fresh nutes 24 hours a day every day. I still clean the plant resivor and the fresh nute resivor every time i empty the fresh nute resivor..(nute resivor is a 55 gallon food grade drum that is currently filled to the 10 gallon mark)

i know people who say c02 is best at 90,but really what they are saying it is to hot for the plants at 90 without c02,but i have found that co2 is effective as long as your lights are powerful and your temps above 76.but others may have found different, but it is really tough to measure because of so many variables

I assume you have the DR150.

There is a guy named Ripz gonna tell you that you have the "street" version cause god be damned that can never happen to the "pro" sj tents.

You enjoying the 2 pole cross section bro? Nice and strong huh? Hang more than 10 pounds and forget about it.

The 4 x 4 uses one pole and is much stronger but still uses the crappy skin. Good luck man, nice job.

the amount of pin holes in the seam is rediculious, but i actually like the material of the canopy. The poles are not beefy enough IMO but strong enough for the two lights hanging off of them. I do like that you can move them around to get your lights exactly where you want them. The tent seems to be built to be portable, i would trade off portability for stabailty anytime. I still love my tent, and i plan on buying another for my mothership.

I see... I thought setup was a pain the ass at first also, but after breaking it down a couple of times and putting it together, I can have the tent up in less than 15 minutes by myself... It just takes a little getting used to how aggressive you can be with the material, and learning how to get all of it up...

Eventually you'll get it all down. :)

I would like to follow up with my system design and results.

I am ditching the tent. Its not tall enough for the lights, and it busted at two of the seams. I ended up having to vent at night to prevent high humidity with the low tempertures. Overall quality is poor. My local grow shop dumped the line so i have no way to get service. I will break it down and set it up in differnt location and use it as a mother and veg room.

Rainforest 66 modules:
this things are awesome. The rate of growth and the root ball at the end was impressive. The roots maintained perfect color and volume. I will not put three plants in one module from now on, they got huge and crowded each other out. I will run two plants in two modules from now on.

Lumetek ballast and daystar ac hoods. :
This system worked perfectly. I have two of these running on a can fan 6ho and my tent temps stayed in the 79-85 range.

CO2 set point controller:
Fatastic pice of equipment. i contribute alot of my success with this system to the efficient and accurate use if co2.

Advanced Nutes:
Wow. i love this stuff. Its expensive but worth it. My nute line up included:
Bloom A and B
Overdrive
Carbo load
Sensi Zyme
Trantuala
Piranah
Bud Blood
Big Bug
Mag Cal
Voodo Juice
Mother earth tea
B52
F1
H2

The end product:
My first harvest was incredible. I had 26 colas with 10 of them being off the charts huge. The rest was more in the baseball bat range.

My mistakes.
Nute burn one week, i will use my own formulation from now on instead of Advanced Nutes feed schedule.

Heat stress. I had family over and a timer broke on the cooling fan for the lights. My tent got to 94* for no telling how long. My fix will be redundency on the fans. And i also have my syetem controller on a webserver so it will text and email me if the temps rise again.
