ok i have FF open sesame it says to use it at first signs of bud and the middle of flowering. so what should i use after this? any help is appretiated so thnx in adv.

I just sprouted some new seeds and I plan to use Foxfarm for the entire grow. Never used the line before, but I expect good things. I sure like the price too.

how long will a 3 pack qt size of big bloom tiger bloom and grow big last me if i use the suggested amount?

Soil or hydro? For hydro, it depends on how many gallons your reservoir is, as well as how often you change it.

for soil, the three pack of nutes will probably last you for almost 2 grows if your following the instructions, but probably not all the way through your second grow. im in themiddle of my second grow and im running out of big bloom. the only reason why is because i use big bloom throughout my grow from veg to harvest. its a catalyst for your nutrients. this is why they recommend using tigerbloom with your bigbloom during flower. the big bloom is merely a catalyst for whatever bloom nute your gonna use. the tiger bloom is the actual blooming nutrient.


The FF line is an awesome line to use, and its hard to burn your plants with, unless your intentiionally trying to fuck your shit up. Since your using Open Ses right now, you should go pick up Tiger n big as soon as you can, and start using them. You really should have been using them before you started using the powder nutes, but its not like its gonna hurt anything to do it your own way. If you need the feeding schedule for FF nutrients, either go to the FF website : www.foxfarm.com , or get yourself a General Hydroponics catalogue. theyre awesome, and youll probably come up with a couple new ideas to add on to your grow once you look through the whole damn thing, lol.

Im using Molasses also. BUT, its pretty much up in the air as to what molasses exactly does for your plants man. Some people say it increases your yield, others say it increases resin production, others yet, say that its merely a catalyst for the roots, helping them increase their nutrient uptake -- and then theres people that have convinced themselves that it makes their smoke sweeter. THEN, theres people that have been growing for YEARS that claim that molasses does nothing at all.

IMO, if theres so many opinions that lean towards a positive effect on the plant, and using it doesnt actually harm anything, then use it, lol. If theres no harm in trying something out, wether anyone is sure of its effects or not, then use it. I would personally say to the people that think that it makes your smoke sweeter - This would be almost not possible, unless you dose some water with a decent amount of molasses, and then feed the plant about an hour before you cut her down. This would probably add some extra sweet to your plant, but then again, there are ALOT of sugars in the stuff, and it would be a little hard for the roots to break it down that fast - bah, i dont know man, lol. Whatever it does, use it if you want to. theres people out the ass thatll recommend using it .BUT, dont use it on your seedlings, lol - i accidentally used it on a couple 2 wk old WWs (2 weeks old from taproot), and i ended up burning the cotelydons and slightly burning the top leaves too. SSSSSSSSUCKY

the thing i hate about ff is that my big bloom is more then half gone and i still have 3/4 of tiger bloom and grow big...IMO its dumb that they dont give u a larger size of bb and lower the size of tb and gb...im gona switch to advanced next time around hopefully its worth the money...
