Default starting indoor, light recommendations?

hey,
Im goin to be starting to plant my seeds soon and i just needed to get some info on lighting. They are outdoor seeds and i am starting them indoor until they are big enough to survive in the outdoors. I made a little box that all my cup are going into. Now what should i use for lighting, i was thinking of installing 2 lamp fittings(the part you screw the bulb into) into a metal aquarium canopy light. What should i use for bulbs? Maybe 2 compact floresuent light bulbs, maybe 26 watt? Do you think that this would work fine? Any help would be great.
