One of my plants is 4 days old and it's got a really nice thick stem. The bottom near the soil looks sort of pinkish, it's standing almost straight but the it's not done forming the leafs yet. Is this something I should worry about?  |

Most of them are now looking like that....5 total. Are they ok, anyone, I don't want them to die or something. |

There just sprouted and are about 1 1/2 inces. One of my kids just happened to break my digital camera so pictures aren't gonna happen, that sucks!! I was hoping somene could just imagine, the bottom half of the stem going into the soil seems to be a pinkish kinda color, the top is green like normal. The plants is obviously a grow |

They are slow growers obviously because they took a while to germinate and they and some have come up through the soil 4 days after the first. They are standing and going towards the lights. I have 6 cfls most of the biggest the 150 watt & 75 watt. Mylar on the walls, rapid test moisture tester, miracle grow soil, the temperature stays between 75-85 and 40-50% humidity. The seeds are top notch from a good bud. Is that a better description? Hoping that helps..... |

most sprouts are born with purple stems read in the grow faq about it, but is pink or purple ? |

Not so much man, but everything seems good in your grow. I would say it is the strain, becuase everything else seems to be good. How close are your lights, hopefully your not using any nutes yet. |

I am not using nutes and the lights are about 3-6 inches away for now, I had them around 1 1/2 inches the first few days and read that I should have them back farther. That's why I moved them to 3-6 inches. They are heavenly seeds so I know the owner. The last time I tried they grew so much faster. Cool, I am glad to know they are ok. |
